Terms and Conditions

By attending the Richmond Hill Tech Community Meetup (the "Event"), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and understand that your participation in the Event may involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical activity, interaction with other participants, and the potential for personal injury, illness, or property damage. You voluntarily assume all such risks, known and unknown, and take full responsibility for your participation.

2. Release and Waiver

You hereby release, waive, and discharge the organizers of the Event, and all other sponsors and partners, from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or rights of action, which are related to, arise out of, or are in any way connected with your participation in the Event, including those allegedly attributed to the negligent acts or omissions of the above-mentioned parties.

3. Photographic Release

You grant permission to the organizers to use your image, likeness, or voice in photographs, videos, or other media for promotional purposes without compensation. You understand that all such recordings are the property of the organizers.

4. Compliance with Rules

You agree to comply with all rules, regulations, and instructions provided by the Event organizers. You understand that failure to adhere to these rules may result in your removal from the Event without refund.

5. Governing Law

This waiver and release shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario.

6. Code of Conduct

All attendees are expected to behave respectfully towards others. Harassment, discrimination, and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Violations of this code may result in removal from the Event without refund.

7. Privacy Policy

By registering for and attending the Event, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information for the purpose of organizing and running the Event. 

8. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Please note that these terms and conditions may be updated or changed at any time. It is your responsibility to review them regularly. Your continued participation in the Event constitutes your acceptance of any changes.
